Geisli sweater

$9.99

Here you will find a warm and cozy Icelandic sweater designed by Icelandic designer Ragga Eiriksdottir.
You can knit your Geisli in two or more colors, if you want, play with the chart. If you want a more discrete version, choose two colors. Use yarn with enough contract to ensure the pattern appear.

“Geisil means beam, in the design you can see how the beams spread down across the yoke”, says Ragga. The sweater is designed for least possible assembly. The sweater is knitted in Lettlopi with shortened rounds under the yoke, Ragga continues,

Classical icelandic sweaters are often knitted top-down. Ragga has made a top-down design, which makes it easier to try it our during the process.
