Midsummer Meadow Sweater

$8.99

Midsummer Meadow Sweater – a light and warm sweater to wear towards the midsummer evening when it starts to get chilly outside, but you still want to feel a bit nice. Perfect to wear over your dress when it’s time to hike across the meadows to pick seven kinds of flowers!

The sweater is worked from the top down with a double folded neck edge, shortened rows at the neck for a nice fit and a yoke of lace knitted flowers. The sleeves are worked straight up to the slightly longer elastic cuff, where the intakes form a small puff.

The elastic in the sleeves and torso is worked with twisted stitches and yarn overs for a neat finish. I have knitted my sweater in a hand-dyed sock yarn from Myrans Maskor.
held together with a strand of Fin Mohair Silk from Järbo Garn. Whether you are at a party or at work, I think you will feel great in this sweater!

Much pleasure with you knitting wishes Annelie Verbrugge @Powerofwool
