Midsummer Night’s Dream

Bolero Midsummer Night’s Dream (Pattern of the Month JUNE 2022)
– In the summer, I like to knit simple projects that I can take with me on excursions, to the barbecue or to the beach, says our designer of this month’s pattern Maria Magnusson.
And don’t we agree?
What better than this project, a bolero called Midsummer Night’s Dream! A very useful garment for chilly summer evenings.
Wear it to the midsummer party, to the wedding or why not to the little black one.

This bolero is knitted from side to side and is constructed in one piece. It is worked in the round from one sleeve to the armpit, back and forth across the back and then in the round to the other sleeve.
The bolero is then finished with moss-stitched cuffs at the sleeve ends and all around the body as decorative beaded bands.

Bolero is knitted in double yarn. One strand of merino in fingering and one strand of mohair to create a soft and fluffy cloud to wrap around.
over your shoulders on cool summer evenings. This yarn from Along Avec Anna provides just that fluff. If you prefer to knit in simple yarn, you should look for DK yarn.
