Mona Lisa tee

$8.99

Running out of ideas? Here is the basic pattern that allows you to compose your sweater according to your wishes. You choose between three different neck shapes and combine it with a tapered three-quarter sleeve that can easily be converted into a short T-shirt sleeve or a straight/tapered full-length sleeve.

The sweater is worked from the top down with raglan increases for the body and sleeves.
The lower part of the jersey has a straight shape but can be adjusted by reducing or increasing the sides for a more fitted shape. The length is estimated to be hip-length but choose your length according to your own taste. The cuffs and neckline are knitted in twisted elastic, but can be varied as desired.

Work in solid colors, free motion or throw on a textured pattern of your choice and you have endless possibilities to develop the pattern further.

Yarn requirements

Circular knitting needles size 3.25-3.5 mm (or equivalent to get the right knitting strength) on cable. Good cable lengths to have on hand are 40/60/80/100 mm.
Start with the shortest cable and increase as needed.
Sleeves are best knitted with a magic loop, otherwise use your super-duper shortest circular needle or double pointed needles of the same size.
