Thea Vesterby’s wonderful sweater, VesterbyCrea.No.30 was the pattern of the month for July 2022. The pattern is now available for purchase in our shop.
– It is V-necked and knitted with a textured pattern and raglan increases, the model is knitted from the top down, so you can try it on while you knit,” says Thea.
– The sweater has a textured pattern that looks more complicated than it is, providing a beautiful fabric for your garment. Don’t be afraid to try,” Thea continues.

For those who want to try more perhaps untested techniques, “Italian bind off” is suggested.
Perhaps the best of all? Sweater and sleeves are worked in one piece. Bind off and attach the threads, the sweater is completely assembly-free.

Description

The sweater is available in six sizes XS – XXL i.e. 6 sizes, with a bust measurement up to 126 cm.
The sweater is knitted with a relatively tight fit.
It goes from 400 grams to 550 grams depending on the size.
The pattern is available in no less than four languages: Swedish, English, Danish and Norwegian!

Recommended yarn:
Thea has used the yarn SILLA, – 40% merino wool, 40% alpaca, 20% silk in the model in the picture.
SILLA comes from CleoGarn and has a stretch of 230 m / 100 gr.
Knitting tension in stockinette stitch with 1 strand of Merino on 4 mm needles 24 sts / 30 rows per 10 x 10 cm.
You can of course work the sweater in another yarn with the same stretch/100 sts.
